Hi there and welcome to the
Australian Attitudes to Elections Survey
(AAES). Are elections important? Do they make a difference? We would love to get your opinions!
This online survey should take
less than five minutes
to complete but will be extremely valuable in understanding what Australians think about this vital element of our democracy.
This survey is
only open to Australian citizens over the age of 18
. The survey is anonymous and no data will be collected that can identify participants.
The survey is completely voluntary and you are free to skip questions or stop at any time. Please note, however, that once you exit the survey, you cannot go back so it is best to complete it in one sitting.
This research is being conducted by the School of History at the Australian National University and has been approved by the ANU Ethics Committee (Protocol: 2016/591). The results will be shared on the History website and possibly through books and academic articles. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Dr Benjamin T. Jones (Benjamin.Jones@anu.edu.au).
You can also contact the ANU
with any queries.
Thanks again for your time!
